This is all well and good, but where is the third bat pole, the one for Clarence? Or is that a single pole and separate, accessed from his linen closet?

There may well be a third Batpole, but not for Clarence.
The third Batpole would be for Batgirl, and it may well be in another Batcave.
As you should be aware, there are subsidiary Batcaves in other locations!!
