Pay me now, OR pay me more later

Finally, we have useful budget numbers in our Delegate packages and in the UCO Reporter pg2, thanks to Treasurer H. O'Brien, UCO info, and the UCO Reporter. Thank you.
Previously, there were closed meetings and reassurances 'I look after all your pennies like they were my own!' +30 Seconds to look at figures.

The Treasurer suggests we cover 53% of our required reserves, I would like to see more. There can be plans to cover the whole amount in 1, 2, or 3 years.   For the fantasy nitwits - a lottery option, a lawsuit/insurance scam option.
All the Delegates have fiduciary duty which is the highest standard of care at either equity or law. A fiduciary is expected to be extremely loyal to the person to whom he owes the duty.  AND RESPONSIBLE.
UCO is leading the way with fiduciary responsibility, good business practices, and prudent planning.

  1. After the Officer Mtg. Who suggested an across the board cut? That is the draconian method of American corporations. Every dept cuts 10%.
Currently there is no real incentive for each committee to make cuts, (let the others do it). We should be able to do this, we need more urgency, sacrifice and effort - not to be coddled and pretend the village can do without repairs.

  2. Hi Elaine,
They do not want a solution, they want problems!

An "across the board cut" is infeasible for the 76% that is contract driven, and is an absurd suggestion.

The Malcontents came today for the audience, and as usual, contributed nothing but disruption.

Hopefully they will realize the pointless exercise of "killing Wi-Fi", if the Delegates simply move it back into the budget.

    They have no credibility!
