Entering the Village via Okeechobee the other day, I noticed the Century Village entrance sign. Was it me, observant for once or the sign: It seemed very attractive and prominent with the blue color. I'm sure we could have a large eye-catching sign as some of the developments do if we paid more and could get by the county regulations. We could have a waterfall and all. I liked what we have, though. The point isn't to compete with the high-cost developments. It's for motorists on both sides of busy Okeechobee Boulevard to not miss a very large, enjoyable-to-live-in village the size of a town.
