All the other CVs have coffee shops. There used to be one here, but it closed because people used to bring in their own tea bags, order a cup of hot water, then steal all the sugars and sweet n' lows.
I thought once upon a time insurance disallowed coffee because it involves a hot cup. Perhaps this is something else for which we can thank the Let's Sue Someone Club.
Why? They serve coffee in the party room. I think the name of the coffee shop was like "ye olde coffee shoppe". It closed because no one could make any money at it.
Hi Elaine, I had forgotten about Blog No. 2! What is wrong with me, Elaine? I would love it for there to be a coffee shop in the Clubhouse, but if people are going to do what Don4060 says they did, of course this is going to kill it. Would it be too much to hope that our people may have changed from being so grasping, and that in pointing out how their past practices put the kibosh on the coffee shop, they would do better now?
