Bring
the family for a day of living history. There will be artillery and
musket demonstrations provided by Seminole War re-enactors. A
children’s interactive booth will provide activities throughout the
day.
Learn
about the second Seminole Wars from the Loxahatchee River Battlefield
Preservationists and listen to stories about the Florida Crackers
given by Judge Nelson Bailey. Guided battlefield tours will take
place throughout the day.
The
event is Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Loxahatchee
River Battlefield Park is located adjacent to Riverbend Park, 9060
Indiantown Road, Jupiter. FREE EVENT.
